I love travelling, but due to family commitments, I cant travel as much as I would like to. Follow this space for places I go to. If you travel to some real exciting places and would like to share, please do so. I will gladly post here and recommend for others. Don’t forget to make pictures. As is often said, a picture tells a thousand words.
Brookgreen Gardens
I used to love my Garden.
But now, my love is dead:
I found a Bachelor’s Button
In Black-eyed Susan’s Bed.

Brookgreen Gardens, a combination of arts, history and zoo, is located south of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA.

This fountain occupies the site of the original house which was burned in 1901. It serves as the main reservoir for the distribution of water to all points of the garden
My visit to Brookgreen Gardens was a delight. It is rightly described as “the floral jewel of South Carolina’s coastal community.” Unfortunately, we had just about 3 hours to visit the garden, so we could only do the sculptures. Such fantastic work of art was simply mind-blowing and a delight to the eyes. The Oaks were a sight to see. Some of them we were told were over a 300 years old. Looking at them felt like being in the midst of wisdom and magic, it was like having a role in the “Lord of the Rings”
